How personalised is the song really?

Accepted Answer

Very. We ask detailed questions about the occasion, the people involved, your favourite memories, and the music you love. Our human-written lyric framework uses all of that to shape lyrics specific to your story — not generic filler. Names only appear in the song if you opt in.

Question 2

Can I provide my own lyrics?

Accepted Answer

Yes — on Signature and Producer’s Cut, check "I'd like to provide my own lyrics instead" on the Your Story step, paste them in, and confirm they're final. On Signature they're set to music exactly as written (this package doesn't include a producer review); on Producer’s Cut, your producer will refine and structure them for you — worth choosing if you'd like help perfecting them. Close & Personal customers can share their own lyrics directly during the consultation call.

Question 3

Will names be included in the song?

Accepted Answer

Only if you choose. By default, the song uses "you" and "your" throughout — this gives a more universal, emotionally resonant feel. If you'd like a name included, tick the opt-in checkbox on the story step.

Question 4

Can I include a specific phrase or line?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There's a field on the Your Story step for anything you'd like included — an inside joke, a meaningful saying, or a line you've written yourself — or anything you'd rather we leave out. We'll weave it in as naturally as possible.

Can I provide a song title?

Accepted Answer

Yes — there's an optional Song Title field on the Sound step. Leave it blank and we'll create one from the strongest image or feeling in your story.

Question 6

Can I order a funny or roast-style song?

Accepted Answer

Yes — just mention it in your story, or in the "anything specific to include" field (e.g. "make this a light-hearted roast for his 40th"). These are meant to be affectionate fun between people who know and like each other: specific and playful, but always turning to genuine warmth by the end. We keep them away from anything genuinely hurtful — no digs at appearance, health, finances, or relationship struggles — and they're not a tool for embarrassing or humiliating someone.

We offer 20+ genres including Pop Ballad, Modern R&B, Folk/Acoustic, Country, Soul/Gospel, Indie Pop, Indie/Alternative, Jazz, Rock, Classical/Orchestral, Hip-Hop/Rap, Trap, Dance/EDM, K-Pop, Broadway/Musical, Synth Pop, 80s Pop/Synth, Chill/Lo-fi, Reggae, Afrobeats, and Afro House — each with a few style variations to refine the feel further. Don't see what you're after? There's a "Not Listed / Something Else" option on the Sound step where you can describe the sound, artist, or vibe you're imagining and we'll match the closest style.

What does the tempo setting mean?

Tempo controls the energy of your song. Choose from Slow & Heartfelt, Medium & Flowing, or Upbeat & Joyful — or leave it blank and we'll match the tempo to your genre and story.

Question 9

Can I request specific instruments?

Accepted Answer

Yes — on the Sound step you can select preferred instruments like piano, acoustic or electric guitar, strings, saxophone, and more. Keep in mind your genre sets the overall sound first — instruments are a layer on top, so if a request doesn't naturally fit the genre (e.g. saxophone on a Trap track), we'll adjust or leave it out rather than force it in.

What vocal options are there?

Choose from Female Vocals, Male Vocals, Duet, Choir / Harmonies, or Instrumental Only (no vocals). The vocal style is matched to your genre for the most authentic result.

Is this just AI?

Accepted Answer

No. Every song starts with our lyric framework — built by humans — which turns your story into personal, specific lyrics rather than generic filler. From there, how much AI is involved depends on the package: on Signature we use AI to compose and produce the music; on Producer’s Cut a professional producer reviews and rewrites the lyrics and tweaks the music; and on Close & Personal your lyrics are written by a human songwriter and the music is crafted with real instruments and studio production, with optional real artists to sing and perform it — AI is used only as a supporting tool where it helps. We're upfront about using AI as one instrument in a human-led process, because the story, the craft, and the people are what make your song yours.

What is the difference between the three packages?

Signature ($99 AUD) uses our human-crafted lyric framework to write your lyrics, then AI composes and produces the music — delivered within 24 hours. Producer’s Cut ($299 AUD) builds on that: a professional producer reviews and rewrites the lyrics and tweaks the music into a polished, broadcast-ready result — 3–5 business days. Close & Personal (price on application) is fully custom — lyrics written by a human songwriter and music crafted with real instruments and studio production (supplemented with AI only where it helps), with optional real artists to perform it. It's built around a free consultation call that takes no payment; once we've confirmed the direction and your final price together, a deposit starts production (credited toward your total) with the balance due on delivery. One finished song and unlimited minor revisions, delivered from 7 business days after production begins.

How many versions do I receive?

Signature includes 2 versions to choose from, plus 1 free re-generation if you're not happy with either. Producer’s Cut includes 1 producer-refined version, selected and reworked from 2 takes. Close & Personal includes 1 fully custom-produced version, shaped through your consultation call.

Can I request changes or revisions?

Signature includes one free re-generation if something didn't work — you'll need to tell us whether it's the lyrics, the music, or both. Producer’s Cut includes up to 2 revision rounds with your producer. Close & Personal includes unlimited minor revisions as part of your consultation.

Question 15

How much is Close & Personal?

Accepted Answer

No — and you pay nothing at all to begin with. Requesting a consultation is free and no payment is taken on the call itself. Once we've spoken and confirmed the direction and your price in writing, a deposit starts production and is credited toward your total, with the balance due on delivery. If you decide after the call that it isn't for you, you've paid nothing.

How long does it take?

Signature delivers within 24 hours. Producer’s Cut takes 3–5 business days. Close & Personal takes from 7 business days, starting once your consultation call is done and the deposit is paid — the exact window depends on scope and we confirm it on your call.

How will my song be delivered?

Accepted Answer

By email as a high-quality MP3 download link. You'll be able to download it, share it, and keep it forever.

Can I use the song on social media or at an event?

Accepted Answer

Yes — for personal use. Share it with friends and family, play it at personal events like a wedding or birthday, and post it on your personal social media. Commercial use is not included in the standard licence.

Question 19

What currency are prices in?

Accepted Answer

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD), charged in AUD regardless of where you're ordering from. Your bank or card provider may apply their own conversion if you're paying from outside Australia.

How does payment work?
